That 80s Rock Show bringing the animal print and spandex to Convoy in the Park

Fans of 80s rock are in for a treat at Convoy in the Park at Donington Park on 21 July, with That 80s Rock Show playing some of the biggest rock classics from the decade on the main stage.

That 80s Rock Show – described on their website as ‘an 80s nostalgia filled, Flux Capacitor powered time machine show’ – are a 6-piece live band who play classic anthems and power ballads from bands such as Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, KISS, Whitesnake and Foreigner.

They certainly like to put on a show too – with lights, lasers, smoke, vintage audio and more animal print and spandex than is probably healthy – all done with tongue firmly in cheek and family friendly.

This is a show for those who remember the 80s – or perhaps wish they could. The band strongly encourage people to come along dressed up in their 80s finery and pride themselves in never leaving an audience unsatisfied but completely rocked out!

That 80s Rock Show will be on stage at 7pm on the Saturday night, just as the on-track action –including the British Truck Racing Championship – has drawn to a close.

There will be seven other music acts playing across the weekend of Convoy in the Park, covering a variety of genres, so there is sure to be something to everyone’s taste.
