Four generations of Renaults at Fleetwood Grab Services, Biglorryblog has the story

Reading-based Fleetwood Grab Services Limited, has added the fourth generation of Renault Trucks to its 6-strong fleet. The 32 tonne Range C440 8×4 with ABBA Predator body and Epsilon M125 Classic crane is an addition to the four generations of 8-wheelers on the fleet, joining a 95 plate Renault Maxter and four Renault Kerax.

Company owner, Des Fleetwood says: “I’ve always been happy with the build quality of Renault Trucks and, whilst I’ve seen MAN and Scanias come and go in my fleet, I still have a 1995 Renault Maxter workhorse going strong that is used most days and has done over 750,000 miles on the original engine, gearbox and axles.

All four generations of Renault trucks are going strong, which Des Fleetwood puts down to the excellent relationship and service support they received from Renault Trucks South. He says: “We are just up the road from them, and I personally know the staff and they know my business so they always get the vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible.” Fleetwood Grab Services is a well-established, family-run business operating a fleet of 6 and 8 wheeled vehicles fitted with safety equipment and extra-long cranes. The company carries out work for local authorities, builders, developers, utility companies and the general public.
