T&D featured truck seeks good home

Bob Taylor, whose 1984 Leyland Freighter 16-13 was featured in Truck & Driver in September 2011, has decided to retire. As a result, the faithful 16-tonner is looking for its third owner. It’s been earning its keep right up to today, and is still taxed and tested until May.

Bob reckons it’s more important that the Freighter, with its naturally aspirated  Leyland 402 and Albion constant mesh six-speeder, goes to a good home than to get a high price for export or scrap.
