JJX Logistics celebrating 20 years in business at Convoy in the Park

Logistics services provider JJX Logistics is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and as part of that the company will be exhibiting at Convoy in the Park at Donington Park on July 22-23.

JJX first began trading in August 1997, when John Donovan started out with just a van and a dream. “There has been blood, sweat and tears along the way,” he says. “For about 10 years I was on the road myself and all of a sudden there were five vans and I was struggling to run the business from behind the wheel. So I set up shop in my spare bedroom with my daughter and wife helping me as I wasn’t the best with the old IT.”

And the business has gone from strength to strength since then. JJX is predominantly a same-day time critical service provider covering the hole of the UK an Europe offering a 24/7 service.

“In 2014, we started to move into the storage side and now have 70,000 square foot of storage with 55 employees and 38 vans, artics and rigids,” adds John.
