The B Sides to bring rock’n’roll to Convoy in the Park

Fans of cult 1950s rock’n’roll are in for a treat at Convoy in the Park at Donington Park on 22 July, when one a top act in the genre plays the music stage.

The B-Sides are a 1950s-style rock’n’roll band covering all the best hits from the genre. For the past three years they have been travelling up and down the country wowing audiences at festivals and private functions while building a strong following at rock’n’roll clubs as they go. The trio pride themselves on getting everyone up and having a great time, and with their authentic and energetic shows, this music is perfect for that! They take to the stage at 12.30pm on the Sunday.

The B-Sides are one of eight music acts that will be playing at Convoy in the Park over the weekend of 21-22 July. The groups span a variety of music genres – from rockabilly to 80s hair metal – so there will be something for everyone enjoy.

Live music is just one of the many forms of entertainment on at Convoy in the Park. Other attractions include live comedy on the Saturday night; more than 1000 show trucks on display, a full trade show, stunt driving, kids activities and much more.

Of course, there is plenty of on-track action as well, led by 10 races in the British Truck Racing Championship, and 12 other races from the Legends, Britcar Endurance Championship, Classic 2CV Championship and Pickup Truck Championship.

Advance tickets can still be booked for Convoy in the Park, although you can also pay on the gate. For more information on Convoy in the Park, and to book tickets, go to www.convoyinthepark.com
