The July issue of Truck & Driver is out now! British truck special + awesome trucks from Scania, MAN, Volvo, Renault, Kenworth & more

This month’s issue turns the spotlight on the final years of British manufacturing with a special in-depth report looking at the trials, tribulations and final years of our truck makers. Not only that, but we also have a double feature on possibly the finest ERF ECX and Foden Alpha in the country PLUS we spend a day with the legendary Les Baston and his 39-year old Seddon Atkinson.

Our Editor’s Choice for this issue is a truck with plenty of British heritage – the DAF XF. This 90th anniversary example is adorned with full airbrushing from the Greatest Showman!

We also go to visit the hard grafting MAN tipper fleet of JR Humble, high in the Weardale hills. This feature was originally destined for our owner-driver issue. Read all about a family firm that’s moved with the times and modernised, while still retaining their traditional values of hard work and good service.

We’ve got two superb Scania features in this issue too, with our calendar star this month the immaculate R580 V8 of Scottish-based haulier Burns. Bob Beech also does a thorough assessment of a S500 and S650.

And… there’s a Trucker’s Test on the Renault Range-T High, and updates from Team T&D including the second part of Paul O Callaghan’s adventures in Australia. This month he gets handed the keys to this massive, brand new Kenworth.

So there you have it! A taster from another jam-packed issue! More amazing stories and more magnificent trucks than anywhere else! ON SALE NOW.
