Show truck winners from Truckfest Peterborough announced

The winners of the 14 show truck categories at Truckfest Peterborough have been announced, with one operator scooping three awards.

More than 2000 trucks attended Truckfest Peterborough over 6-7 May, as the thousands of people who went enjoyed record-breaking May Day bank holiday temperatures.

Renault Trucks brought the Red Hot Chilli Pipers to entertain the audience on their stand and in the main arena. Daf also celebrated its 90th Anniversary this year.

Last year Truckfest resurrected the Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2017 it was presented to Knowles Transport and this year awarded to the Malcolm Group. The award is presented annually and voted on by a panel of industry professionals.

Andrew Malcolm was on hand with his family, dedicated members of his team and a superb array of commercial vehicles, some of which he had brought along from the Malcolm Group Heritage Centre.

As ever, there was strong competition in all the show truck categories at Truckfest, with many owners and drivers having bought new trucks or upgraded existing ones over the winter months.
